Writing Progress Log : W/E 16th October 2026

This week we got back into development of The Bookshop Mysteries 7 – A Ring of Roses, and MMS Book 2. For A Ring of Roses I drafted chapters 34,35, 36, totalling 2930 words. For MMS Book 2, I wrote chapter 11 totalling 1436 words, but it’s incomplete. So in total I drafted 4366 words. Not the highest word count, but For MMS Book 2 it’s a very important chapter that took a lot of research and was hard to write, but the results will be worth it..

For the next week I am getting on with it not the development edits for MMS Boook 1 have been submitted. I want to complete Act 1 of MMS Book 2 ready to review what we have so far. For The Bookshop Mysteries 7 – A Ring of Roses, I want to complete 3 chapters which will put us fulled into the final Act and story resolution. Exciting.
